Today I was checking the comments on my little blog here. As I’ve said in a few places, I don’t expect anyone else to check out my ramblings and I created this blog for me. So I’m not really looking at traffic numbers, nor am I concerned about how many followers I have. Or how many comments are left on my posts.
I’m both honored and deeply appreciative of those who do come here, follow my ramblings and especially those who actually do leave comments. Thank you all. I began these ramblings because I was feeling very secluded and alone in the world. Each of you have helped me through some of those dark times. And I’m thankful for that. Even if that wasn’t your intention, you helped. So Thanks! Continue reading →
I like my little blog. I just needed to say that. I like the graphics I made for it. The rose bud Logo especially, with the two tone color “VR“.
The header took me about 2 hours because I had to find a rose I liked. One that would blend in with the colors of the theme I wanted to use. Then I had to resize the rose so it could be seen properly on the right, but faded enough on the left to put the title with the font I wanted to use.
And then there’s the copyright image at the bottom of all my posts. I like all the varying shades of pink. Yep. I like my little blog.
Welcome to my new blog. I’m not new to blogging. Not by a long shot. I have a professional blog, a family blog, a game blog even. But I find myself in a situation where I feel as though I have no one to talk to. Yet needing to talk to someone.
I received an email from a friend the other day and I wrote out this big long response to her question “How are you”. And then I deleted. That’s when I decided I need a place to rant and get out my frustrations, anger and emotions. A place where I can keep the “Letters To Myself” even if it’s only for me!
I don’t expect anyone to read this blog, except me. And that’s ok and fine. It’s not for anyone else really. But if you’re feeling like I am, maybe my letters, news, and random thoughts can help you realize you’re not alone in this crazy sometimes hard world we live in today.
